Ah, the sweetness of life! I don't have the patience to make my daughter's hair, but she gets a plait or a ponytail from me if she asks. It's difficult to please a toddler though! Argh, the fuss. But oh, aren't they so sweet.
oh the patience thing lol yes! toddlers can really test it, she has this sense of urgency sometimes, where it needs to be done now! and if not I feel the wrath, it's hard to balance that - setting of boundaries while sometimes giving in but you're right, when your heart lives and breathes outside of you, it's oh so very hard to say no
This piece moved me in the quietest, deepest way. Your writing, like always, captures the sacred in the ordinary (i think i've said this before haha) the intimacy of blueberries shared, the patience in curls combed are just so precious! You remind me that care, even in the smallest acts, is a form of love. Thank you for holding space for tenderness and reflection in such a gentle, intentional way my friend <3
You say it and each time it feels special, because yes it's all very ordinary and I think how dare I write about such things? But it's that part! the smallest acts of love really do matter, and I love each time how you just get it! ♥️
Please keep writing about such things! Those seemingly ordinary acts and moments are what life consists of and what we should be paying attention to ❤️
oh thank you Jennae, at first I thought, am I overstepping by speaking out in the tiniest of ways and then I thought this matters, this is important and if only a few see it, that's enough! thank you for seeing and for seeing me, always! ❤️🩹
I love listening to your stories of taking care of your baby girl! Enjoy the moments! They pass quickly. 💚💜
